Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Kifanoz energy analytics platform and related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Services.
Description of Services
Kifanoz provides an energy analytics platform designed for residential property management companies in Japan. Our Services include:
- Real-time monitoring of electricity, gas, and water consumption
- Data visualization and analytics tools
- Seasonal pattern analysis and reporting
- Building performance benchmarking
- Cost optimization recommendations
User Accounts
To access certain features of our Services, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Providing accurate and current information
Acceptable Use
You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

Intellectual Property
The Kifanoz platform, including all software, algorithms, designs, and content, is protected by intellectual property rights. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our platform without explicit permission.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of our Services. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may temporarily suspend Services for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances.
Fees and Payment
Certain features or service levels may require payment of fees. All fees are specified in your service agreement. Payment terms, refund policies, and pricing changes will be communicated in accordance with your agreement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kifanoz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Services.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Kifanoz harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to our platform or other users.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through our platform or via email. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Niigata, Japan.
